This Celebrity Burger Brand Is Hitting the Road With Food Trucks

Food trucks have revolutionized the restaurant scene, providing a flexible way to reach hungry customers without the high costs associated with traditional brick-and-mortar locations. They enable established restaurants to bring their signature menus directly to local neighborhoods, offering convenience while maintaining high quality.

Wahlburgers, the fast-casual burger chain founded by chef Paul Wahlberg and his actor brothers, Mark and Donnie Wahlberg, has launched its own fleet of food trucks.

According to TC Palm, two trucks have already hit Home Depot parking lots, one in Rockledge, Florida, and another in Stuart, Florida, which opened on December 16. Plans for a third truck in Vero Beach are underway, aiming to expand the brand’s presence.

These food trucks share the Wahlburgers name but offer a menu tailored to the mobile experience. They serve breakfast, featuring a breakfast sandwich, burger, and burrito.

The trucks focus their lunch and dinner offerings around exclusivity. The BBQ Road Burger and HD Smash Burger are truck-only, supported by a familiar lineup of chicken, fries, tater tots, and milkshakes. It’s a format designed to serve both longtime fans and first-time customers looking for something quick and distinctive.

Wahlburgers’ Journey and Growth

Wahlburgers debuted in 2011 and quickly gained national recognition, helped by Paul Wahlberg’s burger recipes and the exposure from its A&E reality series. By late 2023, the chain had reached 109 locations nationwide. In 2025, its footprint changed when 79 locations inside Hy-Vee gas stations closed as the partner moved to launch its own food operation.

This setback didn’t hinder the brand’s momentum. By adding food trucks, Wahlburgers demonstrates agility and innovation, providing fans with the same quality experience in a more accessible format. The move also reinforces its status as a celebrity-owned chain that delivers on taste and excitement.

Expansion is still a priority for the Wahlberg brothers, though freshness remains just as important. The food truck model allows them to move quickly without sacrificing the reliability tied to the Wahlburgers name. Customers get the comfort of a known brand, served wherever the trucks happen to be.

Fans looking to keep up can follow along online. Location drops and menu specials are posted through social media and local channels, helping maintain momentum as the trucks travel throughout Florida.
